Moving

Spent last Sunday moving out of my place in Philly and up to New York.  Moving is never fun, but if there’s one enjoyable aspect of it, it’s digging out old stuff like the items below.  They are a couple Pre-K school projects in which my teacher asked me a series of questions and wrote down my responses.  A few thoughts on this:

-I seemed to have a strange obsession with pants.

-I remember “Benny and the Bear.” I checked it out of the school library and renewed it about 19 times.  I remember Mrs. Kurtz, the librarian, saying to me: “You know, you could just buy the book.”

-The fact that the forms were apparently duplicated by means of a technology called “Repeat-O-Type” (printed across the tops of the pages) makes me feel awfully old.
