Grape Room, Saturday Feb. 18th
I’ll be playing a full-band show at the Grape Room in Manayunk, Philadelphia on Saturday, February 18th at 9 PM.
It’ll be the first full-band show in a while and will feature Lance Davis on drums, Shane Moore on guitar, Paul Weinstein on bass, and Lesley Barth on piano. Definitely not to be missed!

Dylan Tribute Out Today (and I'm on it)
“Dylan: Philadelphia Pays Tribute to a Legend” is out today! I contributed track 8, “Eternal Circle.”
The album features entirely Philadelphia artists and was recorded at Racetrack Studios in South Philadelphia. It was produced by Lance Davis, engineered by Shane Moore, and mastered by Dave Bowden.
So much great stuff on here, kicking off with The Levee Drivers’...

Caffe Vivaldi this Saturday/Petition/Guest
I will be playing at Caffe Vivaldi this Saturday at 6 PM. A couple things about this show:
1.) It may be my last show there - though I certainly hope it’s not. Caffe Vivaldi, like many great, old institutions in the Village, has fallen on hard times; they recently got a new landlord who has TRIPLED their rent. Rockwood Rescheduled...
As a result of Hurricane Irene, and the shutdown of the subway system, today’s show at Rockwood Music Hall was rescheduled for Sunday, October 2nd at 3 PM. Hope everyone stayed safe and dry. See you in October!

Spent last Sunday moving out of my place in Philly and up to New York. Moving is never fun, but if there’s one enjoyable aspect of it, it’s digging out old stuff like the items below. They are a couple Pre-K school projects in which my teacher asked me a series of questions and wrote down my responses. A few thoughts on this:

With my move to New York looming near, I just taught my last guitar/piano lessons last night (in my current teaching job at least). I have to say, I’ll miss having conversations like these:

Winning
Two days ago I won $2 on a $1 scratch-off. Today I bought a bus ticket from Philly to New York for $1 (thanks, Megabus). So I break even. That’s called being smart with your money.
