Bio

Charles Ramsey is New York City-based singer/songwriter who has released two full-length albums.  His most recent album, Good Morning & Good Night was released in 2009 to international acclaim.  Drawing comparisons to Burt Bacharach, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds, Morrissey, and The Divine Comedy, the album was described as “one of the best releases of 2009,” by the Brazil-based music site, Paralelo Pop, and ranked in the top 50 of Absolute Powerpop’s Top 100 Albums of 2009.

In 2011, Ramsey announced the completion of his third CD.  Due to be released in the fall of 2011, the EP will feature five new songs.  It was recorded at ROKBOX Productions and Racetrack Studios in Philadelphia, and was produced by Ramsey and Lance Davis.
